Right Column Ads (RCAs): Please take a minute and go through all the following points before moving on. They lay the groundwork for helping you place the more effective ad for the least cost.
- The right hand column on this page lays out the size and positioning of the RHCAs for all the Directory pages
- Libraries and rmFamily only have Diamond #1, Gold #5 and Silver #9 ads available on their pages.
- Gcat, Mcat and Scat stand for Grand Categories, Major Categories and Sub-Categories
and apply only to the Directory and Library Category Pages. They refer to the ad placement across all the pages of a Grand Category or Major Category or Sub-Category
- Global, State or Country refer to the placement of an ad on all the pages ( Global ) or just
those for a particular state or country
- All of the RCAs are 150 pixel wide and vary in height from the largest Diamond to the smallest Bronze. There actual sizes sizes are illustrated in the right hand column of the LAD EX-AD worksheet.
- Gcat ads are more expensive than Mcat which are in turn more expensive than Scat ads.
- Likewise Global ads which contain all the Mcat pages and all the Scat pages.... and ALL the State and Country pages ...are more expensive than RHCAs that appear only for a given state or country.
- LAD provides the unique opportunity ...to select your Target Market, by category and by location (GLOBAL marketplace or specific state or country)
- RCAs that appear in any of the Sections of Directories other than the Category Section ( the company listings) are all GLOBAL ads, as is all of the Library and rmFamily Sites ads.
- Why is that a benefit to me? Other internet directories have limited categorization and lump all the listing together making no distinction between services provided nationally versus those provided locally.
Those 'phone book type of directories' have very limited categorizations.. No other directories have the 'ease of use' icons for their visitors that pop up pages that provide key information about the company and even walk you through their web sites.
